How do I remove an image from the stage if I change my mind? There are 2 ways. 1) You can drag the image off the stage. 2) You can hit the "re-do" button. IF you use this answer you will also reset EVERYTHING on the stage. How do I add my own pictures?
There are 3 image formats supported in Virtual Redneck. (jpg, png and
pct) Your best results will be with a .png or .pct with a transparent background.
You will need to have a white background for a .jpg (all of these image modifications
may be made with PhotoPlus 5 included with Virtual Redneck). After you edit
your images you simply save them as the same name as the place holder (example:
"myHead.png) in the Virtual Redneck folder where you installed the software.
The next time you launch Virtual Redneck your images will be included in your
choices. Why does a selection stay in the selection window when I change selection topics? That is because you clicked on it but then didn't move it. To remove it simply drag it off the stage. How do I get back after I save? Click on either the forward or the back button. If you go forward you will navigate through the save/print options until you finish them all then you will be taken to the beginning of your game. How do I save as a .jpg? The default save format is .bmp. After you save you may open the image in PhotoPlus 5 (or any image editing software) and "save as" or "export" as a .jpg. You may want to do this BEFORE e-mailing your image as it will greatly reduce the file size and send much faster. How can I get my picture in the Gallery? You might want to first save as a JPG (see above) and then simple attach the image to an e-mail sent to "gallery@virtualredneck.com" Do I have to register my software? No. But registering will give you the opportunity to take full advantage of the e-mail tech support, be informed of upgrades and changes and informed of the new bonus images added to the site for download (click here to register now).
